Good day LAS fans young and old,
My name is Greg Rose, and you’ll learn more about me as the days pass by, but I wanted to give a quick intro to who I am and why I am here on LaxAllStars. Who I am is simple: in the “About” section on the top right of this page, you’ll be able to learn a bit more about some of my lacrosse experiences in the world; you’ll notice that I have a range of experience.
Why I am here is a bit deeper: my intention behind joining LAS as a contributor is two-fold.
Firstly, I have had varying levels of relationships with LAS editors and blog contributors, and, from what I’ve spoken with them about, and seen reflected in the blog itself, all point to a purpose that I agree with: providing honest insight into all things lacrosse, from broad topics to specific details on a range of subjects, that will, hopefully, result in inspiration, learning and promotion of your best inner-lax-self; after determining that we share this philosophy and that I have the knowledge and observation to contribute, I realized that this type of positive reinforcement by defining the truth of situations is something I felt compelled to join.
Secondly, LaxAllStars and I have teamed up in crowd-source funding a new project, a book and journey called Zen, Lacrosse and the Art of Stringing (which also became the name of the blog, as you can see); after a few rounds of discussions with LAS, we found some great synergy with this project and what LAS is trying to accomplish in growing the game – both from a knowledge and numbers perspective.
I’d like to thank LaxAllStars for allowing me to speak my mind as well as thank you (our readers) in advance for the same; I’m happy to hear all and any comments, questions, or reactions to anything I say, write, allude to or portray at email@example.com.
